Dana Younce Willis, 47, formerly of Stow, daughter of gospel music's George Younce

Dana Younce Willis, 47, formerly of Stow, Ohio, daughter of the late George Younce of the legendary Cathedrals Quartet and sister-in-law of Ernie Haase, formerly of the Cathedrals and currently the leader of Signature Sound Quartet, died of a heart attack August 10, 2009, at her home in Powder Springs, Ga.

Dana was born in Spartanburg, S.C. and moved to Stow as a toddler. She graduated from Stow High School in 1980.

The following year, she married Robbie Willis and moved to Cobb County, Ga.

The Willises also worked together for 28 years running Willis Tours. Dana served as vice president.

In addition to her husband, Dana is survived by her mother, Clara Younce; three sisters, Gina Younce Eroskey ( husband, Rick ), Lisa Younce Haase (husband, Ernie) and Tara Younce Aidala (husband, Tom), all of Stow; one brother, George Lane Younce (wife, Terri) of Powder Springs; two nieces, Morgan Younce and Laci Younce; and one nephew, Christian Younce.

Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. service Friday, August 14, 2009, at Macland Baptist Church, 3732 Macland Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127.

Arrangements: Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta, Ga.
