Robert H. Welly, 83, retired Lintern Corp. accountant
Robert H. Welly, 83, who retired in 1991 as an accountant with Lintern Corp. of Mentor, Ohio, where he had worked for 25 years, died July 5, 2009.
He was born in Tiffin, Ohio, where he lived before moving to Mentor 42 years ago.
Welly, who served with the Marine Corps during World War II, was a past president of Rotary International and member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Mentor.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Josephine (Dabato); children, Daniel (Annette) of Painesville Township, Ohio, David (Pam) of Baltimore, Md., Matthew (Elizabeth) of Concord, Ohio, and Kathy (Jamie) Buzzanca of Mentor; and grandchildren, Bob, Nick, Sarah, David, Kaitlynn, Carrington, Jacob, Madelyn, Estella, Ashley, Emily, Megan and Christopher. His daughter, Robin, is deceased.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
